Woodley out versus Baltimore
November 1st 2011 16:16
The Pittsburgh Steelers and Baltimore Ravens are set to renew their rivalry this coming Sunday. Pittsburgh will have to face the Ravens without one of their better players, LaMarr Woodley. The linebacker is out with a sore hamstring.
Woodley joins James Harrison and James Farrior on the injury list for the Steelers. Lawrence Timmons is the only normal linebacker set to play, and he will line up out of his normal position on the outside taking Harrison's spot. Woodley is expected to miss the teams next two games against the Ravens and Bengals. Harrison will likely miss the same amount and Farrior is out for over a month.
Woodley has 7.5 sacks in the last four weeks, making his not playing a tough pill to swallow. Larry Foote and Chris Carter stepped onto the field last week and played great versus the New England Patriots. Now the two plus another backer will be expected to keep up the pressure versus Joe Flacco and the Ravens.
