Two key game four's on tap

The LA Lakers were upended after an onslaught of 3-pointers from the Dallas Mavericks, 122-86. The win wasn't surprising with how the Lakers had been playing, but the easy win turned out being the story of the day. Dallas set a new record in a four-game series with 48 from beyond the arc. The Mavs hit 20 of these on Sunday, including nine from Jason Terry. In a few minutes, game four of the Chicago- Atlanta series kicks off. Expect a barn-burner in this game. The Hawks better hope they don't let the Bulls run all over them like they did on Friday.
Tomorrow, Boston hosts Miami in game four, and Memphis looks to continue their unbeaten streak at home in the playoffs against Oklahoma City.
The Rajon Rondo injury to his elbow was very brutal to watch. I bet it hurt Rondo even more, but the guard in a Willis Reed moment rushed back onto the court a short time later. He put on a show using only his right hand in pacing the Celtics easy win. Ray Allen and Paul Pierce both had good nights and Kevin Garnett led the team with 28 points and 18 rebounds.
Lebron James played his worst game of his young career in the playoffs, netting only 15 points. The Heat's big three scored only 44 points in the loss. Joel Anthony and Mario Chalmers were the Heat's bright spots. Anthony, the backup center, scored 12 points and had 11 boards. Mario Chalmers came off the bench to score 17 points. Both of these guys need more of this to help bolster the starters. Mike Bibby and Chris Bosh had terrible outings in game three, helping the Celtics along. Boston keeps it up and ties this series at two games apiece.
Is there more of a hungrier team then Memphis in the playoffs? Don't think so. Zach Randolph is having a great playoffs. The former Trailblazer went for 21 points and 21 rebounds in the come from behind victory on Saturday over the Thunder. Marc Gasol, and Mike Conley each had great games in the win, as did O.J. Mayo. The former USC guard scored 18 points in the game, his second straight game with 18 or more.
Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook each scored over 20 points but they each took well over 20 shots to get to this plateau. Westbrook was a paltry 7-22 from the field. Thabo Sefolasha didn't help out matters any connecting on 2 of his seven shots. James Harden came off the bench to score 12. But cold-shooting was the name of the game especially in the fourth when the Grizzlies rallied from 16 down to tie the game and win in overtime. On Monday, the Thunder won't shoot 36% like they did on Saturday, but their losing ways continue as the Grizzlies keep winning at home. Memphis with the win will be one game shy of challenging the Mavericks for the West Crown.
