1. Alex English- eight-time all-star was a scoring machine. Denver all-time leader in games played, field goals made and attempted, offensive rebounds, assists and points.
2. David Thompson- athletic player who could fly. Three-time all-star.
3. Dan Issel- former coach of Denver, also was a star on the court for the team. Great player in ABA and NBA for Nuggets.
4. Dikembe Mutombo- great blocker and rebounder for Nuggets. Three-time all-star led Nuggets to great playoff upsets. Defensive wizard, imposing figure with his finger.
5. Carmelo Anthony- great scorer and talent for Nuggets brought them back to the playoffs. Burned bridges with how he wanted out of Denver, but was a great player for them.
6. Fat Lever- quick hands led him to being one of best at stealing in league history. Could score or pass with the best of them.
7. Byron Beck- star for Denver while they were the Rockets and then the Nuggets. First player to have number retired by Nuggets.
8. Kiki Vandeweghe- tall and lanky shooter for Nuggets. Not a good defender but could fill it up on the offensive side.
9. Chris Jackson- better collegiate then pro, was a great passer for team.
10. Marcus Camby- another great defensive big-man for Nuggets. Four time all-defensive team member, good rebounder, can score when needed.
11. Danny Schayes- good player for Nuggets, averaged nearly a double-double for team.
12. Ralph Simpson- was a star for Nuggets while with Denver in the ABA, and NBA later on. Averaged 27 points for team in 1971.
13. Andre Miller- smart player who will be on top 20 for more teams as he is a journeyman. Back on Denver once again.
14. Anthonio McDyess- good scorer and rebounder for Denver. Could defend if needed, had injury problems while with team or he could of been higher.
15. Michael Adams- averaged 26 points and 11 assists in 1990 for Nuggets. Had some good years for team in late 80's.
16. Bobby Jones- shooter for team who could fill it up along with Issel on the team.
17. Dale Ellis- pure shooter, not much else.
18. Nick Van Exel- another point guard who dazzled with his passes. Great shooter from three-point line, star defender.
19. Laphonso Ellis- didn't last much longer after his rookie year. Was a disapointment on court, but had the talent to be so much more.
20. Raef Lafrentz- lanky defender, was a good rebounder and blocker, not much else.
