Top 15 Sixth-Men in NBA History

1. Kevin McHale: won sixth-man awards in 1984 and 1985. Formed a big three in Boston with Robert Parrish and Larry Bird. Came off bench for most of his first five seasons.
2. John Havlicek: sixth-man awards weren't around for when Havlicek played but if they were, he would of won at least two. Great hustler off the bench for numerous championship teams in Boston.
3. Detlef Schrempf: won back-to-back sixth-man awards in 1991 and 1992 for Indiana.
4. Toni Kukoc: won the sixth-man in 1995. Runner-up as well for award. Started on occasion though for the Bulls.
5. Jason Terry: won award in 2009, runner-up last year. Streaky shooter, fearless.
6. Ricky Pierce: won the sixth man award twice in 1986 and 1989. Smooth shooter.
7. Bobby Jones: won award in 1982. Great defensive player for the 76ers.
8. Billy Cunningham: great change of pace player for the 76ers. Could do it all on the court.
9. Bill Walton: won award in 1986 for the Celtics after leading Portland to the title in 1977.
10. Manu Ginoboli: before he became one of the best players in the league, Ginoboli was a great sixth-man. Won award in 2008.
11. Clifford Robinson: won in 1993. Averaged 19 points, seven rebounds and two blocks this year. Should of won the award more then once.
12. Fred Brown: Great scorer, good defender. Could of started for many teams.
13. Jamal Crawford: Won the award in 2010 for the Hawks. Averaged 18 points during this run.
14. Bobby Jackson: Good backup for the Kings. He was a nice change of tone guard from Mike Bibby. Quick guard.
15. Dell Curry: A great shooter off the bench for the Hornets, he could fill it up in a hurry.
