1. Steve Nash- player who is very gifted on both sides of the court. As a scorer, defender or distributor, Nash can do it all. Ranks as one of the top point guards in NBA history.
2. Charles Barkley- took the Suns where nobody else could before him. Won the league MVP in 1992. Great talent as a shorter player.
3. Kevin Johnson- the mayor of Sacramento used to run Phoenix. Franchise leader in assists was a huge reason for the Suns great play during the 80's and 90's.
4. Amare Stoudemire- hard to discount his level of play. Five-time all-star, great talent as an athlete and player.
5. Walter Davis- great scorer, ranks as top in franchise history. Great player, high in many other statistical categories.
6. Tom Chambers- had a great shot on him. Could hit anything and everything inside the three-point line. Averaged 27 points per game in 1989. Three-time all-star.
7. Dan Majerle- "Thunder Dan" is an assistant now with the team. Great shooter, and scorer on the court. One of the best competitors you will ever see.
8. Shawn Marion- lanky player. Very versatile on the court. Could play all five positions, good scorer, rebounder and defender.
9. Paul Westphal- four-time all-star is the fifth leading scorer in Phoenix Suns history. Made the All-NBA team three times.
10. Alvan Adams- franchise leader in games and minutes played as a center. Third in franchise history in assists.
11. Connie Hawkins- good scorer, and rebounder. Hawkins was very skilled in everything basketball.
12. Joe Johnson- began his career as a Sun. Showed glimpses of what Atlanta was getting when he joined the team. Good shooter and defender.
13. Danny Ainge- another over-achiever. Ainge was an elite shooter and a hard-nosed guy who would lunge at any lose ball.
14. Mark West- center for the Suns during their runs in the 80's and 90's. Good role player, not a great player or a good player. Knew what was asked of him.
15. Dick Van Arsdale- one of the best free throw shooters in NBA history. Keyed the Suns during the 60's and 70's. Three-time all-star.
