Top 15 Players in Orlando Magic History

August 17th 2011 03:27
1. Shaquille O'Neal- the big man brought the Magic to the forefront of the NBA playoffs. He was dominant as a big man from day one in the league. Only weakness was shooting free throws.

2. Dwight Howard- the second coming of O'Neal, Howard is the leagues best center right now. He is very hard to stop around the hoop. A great defender, and rebounder.

3. Penny Hardaway- One of the early members of the Magic. Hardaway teamed with O'Neal to make the Magic a finals contender. A great all-around player.

4. Tracy McGrady- tremendous scorer. McGrady while on the team was amongst the league leaders in scoring.

5. Vince Carter- great athlete. Carter developed an outside shot while with the Magic. A good scorer and leader.

6. Hedo Turkoglu- an all-around player. Turkoglu can do it all if you get his head on straight. Kind of an underachiever at times. Turkoglu is a good scorer and rebounder.

7. Nick Anderson- clutch performer for the Magic. Anderson had good range. Great ability to take the ball to the hole.

8. Mike Miller- one of the best shooters in the league in recent memory. Miller is weak at every other facet of the game, great shooter.

9. Scott Skiles- classic guard with the pass-first mentality. Skiles was clutch for the team.

10. Dennis Scott- great shooter from long-range. Scott could beat the defender of the dribble.

11. Rashard Lewis- big-time three-point shooter. Lewis is a good rebounder, more known for shooting.

12. Pat Garrity- another shooter. Big-mans body, not a good rebounder or defender. Soft, but good shooter.

13. Horace Grant- came to Orlando after Chicago. Provided leadership for the team. Good rebounder, defender, and inside player.

14. Bo Outlaw- hard working player. Outlaw's motor never quit on the court. Good rebounder, and finisher around the court.

15. Darrell Armstrong- another classic point guard. Now a coach like Skiles in the league.
Shaquille O'Neal is Orlando's top player of all-time

VC and Hedo look a little too high, and Nick Anderson needs to be leapfrogged over them.
