Sundays NFL Games
November 5th 2010 01:01
San Diego at Houston: After defeating the Titans last week, it seems the Chargers owners of the leagues best defense and offense according to statistics are on the way to better things. At a record of 3-5, the time is now. Philip Rivers continues to shine in the Charger win.
Arizona at Minnesota: The Vikings are 2-6 and falling fast. Brett Favre has now started in 292 straight games, is this the week he sits down? Don't think so even with a bum jaw, broken ankle in two places, and being 40, he will still play, and lead the Vikings to the win.
New Orleans at Carolina: Drew Brees lead the Saints to a big win last week over the 5-1 Pittsburgh Steelers. Now he has the Panthers in a test of wills. New Orleans will win in a big way here, will be close for a bit as the Panthers look to save coach John Fox's job.
New England at Cleveland: Tom Brady is cruising along this year. The Browns knocked off New Orleans earlier this season, but don't stand a chance against New England. Patriots in a laugher.
Tampa Bay at Atlanta: The Buccaneers found a way to outlast Arizona last week in a shootout. Atlanta at 5-2 are playing as well as anyone in the league. A close game here, with Atlanta wide receiever Roddy White scoring the winning touchdown.
Chicago at Buffalo: Buffalo nearly got their first win or at least a tie last week against Kansas City, before the Chiefs eked out a three point win in the final minute of overtime. Can the Bills win against Chicago. No. Jay Cutler throws for more touchdowns then interceptions and the Bears win.
Miami at Baltimore: One of the better games on the week, pits the Ravens and the Dolphins. Miami is undefeated on the road thus far this season at 4-0. On a hunch, the Ravens will pull out a close affair here and hand them their first loss away from Miami.
NY Jets at Detroit; The Jets are coming off a lackluster performance versus Green Bay in failing to put up any points, while Detriot outlasted Washington. Mark Sanchez wins the battle of young quarterbacks over Matt Stafford and leads the Jets to the win.
Indianapolis at Philadelphia: The return of Michael Vick makes this game interesting. Not having a running attack with the loss of Joseph Addai hurts the Colts who lose. Peyton Manning can't do it all against a good Eagles team.
Kansas City at Oakland: The game of the week? No, but one of the better games which is strange considering both of these teams were horrible last year. Now both are looking like possible playoff contenders. Kansas City needs to score to keep up with the highflying Raider offense who are coming of age. Oakland wins.
Dallas at Green Bay: Wade Phillips countdown to his dismissal is running near zero as the Cowboys struggle yet again now on the national stage at Green Bay on the Sunday night game. Aaron Rodgers throws for three touchdowns as the Packers win with ease.
Pittsburgh at Cincinatti; Last year Cincinatti beat Pittsburgh twice en route to a division title, this year they are struggling to stay afloat and are 2-5 on the season. Pittsburgh is headed the other direction and will likely ride this wave to a division title. The Bengals put up a fight being on Monday night but lose here.
Arizona at Minnesota: The Vikings are 2-6 and falling fast. Brett Favre has now started in 292 straight games, is this the week he sits down? Don't think so even with a bum jaw, broken ankle in two places, and being 40, he will still play, and lead the Vikings to the win.
