Sunday NFL Games

Hard to top last week's games in which the excitement was through the roof! I predicted 12 out of the 13 games correct and this feat will be difficult to match, but here I go...
Thursday game: Baltimore will defeat Atlanta as posted in previous post.
Detroit at Buffalo: Is this the week Buffalo earns that first win? The Lions are coming off a tough loss versus the New York Jets that saw them fall apart at the end and lose 23-20 in overtime. Buffalo nearly knocked off the Chicago Bears. With quarterback Matthew Stafford hobbled with another injury, and Shaun Hill now stepping in, Detroit will play hard but the Bills get that win! C.J. Spiller runs wild on the Lion defense.
Minnesota at Chicago: A week after a thrilling victory over the Cardnials, Minnesota does not stand a chance here. The players have stated in the week, un-named players how they are giving up on coach Randy Childress. Viking quarterback Brett Favre will find a way to give the game to a strong Chicago defense.
New York Jets at Cleveland: The Browns have now defeated New Orleans and New England after knocking off the Patriots last week. Can they go for three teams with six wins, nope. The Jets will eke out a win here.
Cincinnati at Indianapolis: Carson Palmer has all the tools in the world at his disposal yet the Bengals are having problems scoring points. Indianapolis quarterback Peyton Manning has less weapons on offense but has the better all around team. Thus Indianapolis wins in a blowout.
Houston at Jacksonville: A game of two teams both 4-4 and in the thick of a divisional battle face off. The Texans after a strong start have faltered the last couple of weeks, while Jacksonville has been up and down all season. Here the Texans win with the stronger offense as quarterback Matt Schaub and wide receiver Andre Johnson both have big games.
Tennessee at Miami: Two big arrivals in Miami on Sunday. Quarterback Chad Pennington returns for the Dolphins while wide receiver Randy Moss makes his Titans debut. Pennington will be rusty and for the Dolphins to think he will be better then Chad Henne is wishful thinking. Tennessee will embrace Randy Moss and win here.
Carolina at Tampa Bay: The Buccanneers will add to Carolina coach John Fox's woes and win with ease here. Losing quarterback Matt Moore to injury may help Carolina out in the long run with giving snaps to the rookie Jimmy Clausen but not here.
Kansas City at Denver: After a tough loss to rival Oakland last week, the Chiefs travel to Denver for a divisional matchup. Kansas City quarterback Matt Cassell who has been very inconsistent this season will finally break out with a big game here against a weak Denver defense. Kansas City wins.
Seattle at Arizona: Two more very inconsistent teams face here. The Seahawks are 4-4 on the season, somehow and face Arizona who is 3-5. Seattle lost 41-7 to the Giants last week, here they fare better, but not enough to win. Larry Fitzgerald has a big game for Arizona in the high scoring victory.
Dallas at New York Giants: A very tough game for new coach Jason Garrett to lead the Cowboys into. New York has been a roll and this will continue. Giants quarterback Eli Manning and the Giants defensive line steamroll Dallas who plays a little harder now that Wade Phillips is gone.
St. Louis at San Fransisco: The Rams are much improved this season and at 4-4 are tied for first place in the NFC west with Seattle. Many predicted the 49ers to win this division and they stand two games back. This game may surprise some as a barn burner to the end. The Rams will pull out the victory in the final minutes and earn win number five.
New England at Pittsburgh: The Steelers eeked out a win over the Bengals on Monday night, while New England was pathetic and lost to Cleveland. A lack of offensive weapons for Tom Brady stood out versus the Browns. This in-effeciency will be more glaring against Pittsburgh. The Steelers win in the game of the week.
Philadelphia at Washington: In the second game against his former team, Donovan McNabb's future with the current is in question. After being pulled with two minutes left against Detroit in a loss two weeks ago, McNabb will have a constant feeling of the unknown. Philadelphia has been on a roll and this continues as Micheal Vick runs wild. The Eagles win in a close game.
