The "Big Aristotle" has moved onto Turner Sports and working with Ernie Johnson, Charles Barkley, and Kenny Smith. Shaquille O'Neal will work with the trio on the set of TNT's Inside the NBA.
O'Neal is also expected to work some with NBA TV and NBA.com. The 15-time all-star had other offers to choose from but in the end, he chose TNT. He should fit in nicely with Smith, Barkley, and Johnson in the studio. TNT's coverage now will easily triumph that from ESPN, who feature Stuart Scott, Michael Wilbon and Jon Barry in studio.
In other news, something fishy is coming from the league. In just the past two days, the NBA has laid off 114 employees. According to the league, this layoff is not connected to the lockout. Instead it is just a cost-cutting measure to knock $30 million off the books. Seems fishy to me, hope the league gets their act together!
