NFL Week 8 games

October 29th 2010 01:10
Week eight games, almost halfway through the season.

Denver at San Fransisco: The Broncos are coming off a disasterous 59-14 loss to Oakland, while the 49ers have a new quarterback taking the snaps. Troy Smith, from Ohio State, will be the starter for Alex Smith. Really think the 49ers will pull this out, as Denver continues to struggle.

Jacksonville at Dallas: Jon Kitna will get the start here for Tony Romo who broke his collarbone. David Garrard returns for the Jaguars who are hungry to send the Cowboys further into oblivion. Jacksonville wins.

Miami at Cincinnati: Carson Palmer threw for 412 yards, a career high last week in a loss to Atlanta. He will have another decent game. The Dolphins have a better defense and will find a way to win here.

Buffalo at Kansas City: The Bills still search for their first win of the season. Won't happen here as the Chiefs win, and go to 5-2 overall. Matt Cassel wins the battle of quarterbacks with Ryan Fitzpatrick.

Washington at Detriot: The Lions return Matt Stafford for this game to lead the team. Good thing as Detriot is 1-5 on the season. McNabb has a okay game, as the offense still struggles. Detriot wins in a close game.

Carolina at St. Louis: Carolina is coming off their first win of the season, over the 49ers, and now face a Ram squad who has played good thus far. Sam Bradford, and Stephen Jackson lead the Rams to a win and end the Panthers winning streak.

Green Bay at New York Jets: The game of the week goes down to the wire. The Jets should be able to run on the Packers defense to wear them down. This will keep Aaron Rodgers and Green Bay off the field. The Jets win in a thriller.

Tennessee at San Diego: When will the Chargers get going? Versus the Titans thats when! San Diego shuts down Vince Young and finds a way to win here. Philip Rivers needs to cut down on his mistakes. Today he will.

Minnesota at New England: Brett Favre broke two bones in his left ankle, but the iron man wants to play. Starting in 291 straight games shows how tough he is. He should take a seat for this one. Tom Brady goes wild in the victory for the Patriots.

Tampa Bay at Arizona: Raheem Morris, coach of the Buccanneers calls his team the best in the NFC. With a record of 4-2, they are certainly improved. The improvement continues at the expense of the Cardnials here. Tampa Bay wins in a laugher.

Seattle at Oakland: 59 points scored at Denver. Oakland really dominated the Broncos. They will be put to the test against an improved Seattle squad. Pete Carroll has Matt Hasselbeck really believing in himself again. Seattle wins in a tight game.

Pittsburgh at New Orleans: The Steelers are on a roll this season, first with Dennis Dixon then Charlie Batch, now Ben Roethlisberger under center. The super bowl champs have struggled. Four interceptions, two taken back for touchdowns last week from the Browns downed New Orleans. Look for a great game, but the Saints winning on Halloween night. Drew Brees wins the battle of quarterbacks.

Houston at Indianapolis: In the seasons first week, Houston finally got their big win against the Colts, as Matt Schaub threw for over 300 yards. This time around, Indianapolis gets the win in a close battle. Peyton Manning finds a way.
