NFL Games for Week 10

November 11th 2011 23:48
Washington at Miami: Matt Moore was named AFC’s Offensive Player of the Week for the Dolphins first win over Kansas City last week. The Redskins have been struggling mightily since a great start on the year. The team is 3-4 on the year after a great 3-1 start. Coach Mike Shanahan benched Rex Grossman after one bad outing and the team has yet to do much since inserting John Beck into the lineup. The Redskins will win here with a great defense and just enough from Beck and the teams offense.

St. Louis at Cleveland: I thought the Rams had more in them after beating New Orleans a week ago, they fell flat versus the Cardinals. Cleveland is having issues since a decent start as Colt McCoy continues to learn the offense. Hard game to pick, gotta go with the home team here.

Buffalo at Dallas: The Bills are another team who started great this year but have gone back down to Earth. Dallas has been up and down on the year, but the team should get the win here with their defense ruining the Bills show. Buffalo struggled as an athletic defense last week as the New York Jets ran over them. Look for a closer game but the Cowboys to win.

Denver at Kansas City: Denver has suddenly got life all thanks to Tim Tebow getting inserted into the lineup. Kansas City lost bad last week against the Dolphins. The Chiefs will learn their lesson and get a win here over the Broncos.

Arizona at Philadelphia: The Eagles have to be one of the more disappointing teams in recent memory with just a 3-5 record at this moment. Arizona will likely start John Skelton at the quarterback spot. He managed to do just enough for the team to get the win last week. Philadelphia will right the ship for a week and get the win here.

Tennessee at Carolina: Carolina is on the verge of something special just working through growing pains. Cam Newton is for real as the quarterback. Tennessee looks more and more like a team headed to a 8-8 record. Matt Hasselbeck is doing good as the quarterback yet the team needs more from Chris Johnson on the ground. Carolina wins.

Pittsburgh at Cincinnati: The Bengals have a great team, with a rookie quarterback who is not your average rookie. Andy Dalton is much smarter then a normal rookie. Pittsburgh though will be feasting for a sack-fest here. The Steelers win as Ben Roethlisberger goes without turning the ball over.

Houston at Tampa Bay: I like this Texans team. Always on the verge of greatness they finally are enjoying a team worthy of the playoffs. Adding Wade Phillips to the defensive side has helped immensely. Josh Freeman is so inconsistent and the Buccs will be missing LeGarrette Blount. Houston wins.

New Orleans at Atlanta: The NFC South is once again up for grabs and these two teams are duking out for the title. New Orleans and Drew Brees are enjoying a season for the ages as he has already passed the 3,000 yard mark through the air. Matt Ryan finally hooked up with rookie wideout last week Julio Jones a couple of times and the rookie from Alabama took advantage for two easy touchdowns. The Saints are the better all around team and win the game, though it will go down to the wire.

Jacksonville at Indianapolis: I really wanted to pick the Colts here. But I couldn’t. The Colts defense has been just as much to blame as the offense for their struggles as of late. Jacksonville has a young quarterback in Blaine Gabbert who has yet to really have a good game as the starter. Maurice Jones-Drew will help the cause here as the Jags get the win.

Baltimore at Seattle: Baltimore will win here unless they play down to their competition. The Seahawks stand no chance. Tavaris Jackson is expected to play, but don’t expect much from the team as Baltimore has too much talent on both sides of the ball. Terrell Suggs and Ray Lewis lead the way in the win.

Detroit at Chicago: The Lions at 6-2 on the year won’t roll over and die in this game, but coming off a bye week will hurt the team. Chicago is on a roll as Jay Cutler looked like one of the best quarterbacks in the league last week versus the Eagles. Chicago wins.

NY Giants at San Francisco: One of the games of the week, there are quite a few of good ones. The 49ers are 7-1 and Giants right behind at 6-2. San Francisco is taking on the personality off head coach Jim Harbaugh. The Giants with luck on their side rallied to beat the Patriots. Alex Smith and the 49ers will win here, though the game will go down to the wire.

New England at NY Jets: Another great game, this one is huge for AFC East supremacy. New England really hasn’t had that good of a game on the year despite being 5-3 now. The Jets are coming back to life after struggling. This game comes down to strength versus strength with the Patriots enjoying a top offense while the Jets have a great defense. New England on a hunch.

Minnesota at Green Bay: Minnesota is a heavy underdog in this game. I don’t think it will be that one-sided. Aaron Rodgers will get at least three touchdown passes though and the Packers will win and remain unbeaten. But Minnesota keeps it interesting throughout. Adrian Peterson and Christian Ponder make a great duo to look forward too on the offensive side.
