New Jersey outlasts Toronto in 3-ot thriller

In the second game of a two-game series in London, two of the NBA's worst put on a show. New Jersey and Toronto combined for 273 points in a three overtime showcase. The Nets won the game 137-136 thanks in large part to Travis Outlaw who took the team on his shoulder in the final moments of the game. Outlaw scored New Jersey's final eight points of the game.
New Jersey defeated Toronto, Friday night in the opener of the series, 116-103 in the first regular season game ever in England. Toronto jumped on the Nets in the opening minutes of the game, grabbing a 30-23 lead after the first quarter. The Nets turned things around quickly going into the locker room with the lead once again at half, 65-62. Neither team could take too much of a lead, until midway fourth quarter when Ed Davis scored on a layup to give Toronto a seven point lead. A 15-4 run by the Nets gave them a three point lead with 30 seconds remaining, setting the tone for the finish.
Demar Derozan tied the game with 19 seconds left at 110. Neither team scored again, and the overtime was set. A Sasha Vujacic three-pointer with nine seconds left, tied the game in the first overtime. Making another extra session needed. Deron Williams was the hero of the second overtime, again tying the game up at 126 in the final seconds. Now the Nets had the momentum, and scored the first seven points of the third overtime. Toronto didn't quit thanks to Leandro Barbosa who scored five key points, giving the Raptors a 136-135 lead with 20 seconds left. Outlaw finished the scoring making two huge free throws to give the Nets the win.
Brook Lopez lead New Jersey with 34 points and 14 rebounds. Deron Williams scored 21 points and had 18 assists. Kris Humphries went for 20 points and 17 boards. Andrea Bargani scored 35 points to lead all scorers for Toronto. DeRozan helped him out with 30 points and Davis pulled down 15 rebounds. Both teams are off till Wednesday giving them some time to recollect themselves after the marathon game.
