Anthony calls for a win over Orlando: Carmelo Anthony states that tonight's game with Orlando is a must-win for the Knicks, considering their recent struggles. The team is below .500 since making the trade for the all-star forward, including losing six straight currently. The team is hovering around the eighth seed in the East. Now they must get going after 19 games with Anthony and Amare Stoudemire together. Wins need to begin.
Spurs injuries: The league's best team, San Antonio is currently being stung by injuries. First it was Tony Parker, who was missed for half a week, then Tim Duncan, and now Manu Ginoboli, who will miss tonight's game with Portland. Duncan is a game-time decision in tonight's action. Portland defeated San Antonio with Nicolas Batum scoring four points in the final second of Friday nights game. Now the Spurs are looking for revenge. The Spurs are 57-16, currently in a three-game losing streak.
Oklahoma City and Atlanta-latest teams to clinch playoff berth: The Thunder with their win over Portland on Sunday clinched a playoff berth. They currently have the fourth best record in the West. The Thunder are four and a-half games ahead of Denver in the standings. Atlanta sits with the fifth best record in the East, just behind Orlando.
James expects nicer second visit to Cleveland: Lebron James, formerly of the Cleveland Cavaliers, received the royal treatment from disgruntled fans earlier this year. Now the Miami Heat forward and his team are coming back for more tomorrow. James expects not so much hostilty this time around. The star player will have time to meet with his two sons in Akron as the Heat arrived in Cleveland early for the game.

The guard is the first college player this year asking for where he will be selected if he makes himself elgible to be drafted. The sophomore guard led the Wolverines with 15 points and seven assists per game.
