NBA Lockout Update
October 21st 2011 23:21
Nothing much new as both sides are still fighting over how to share the revenue. The owners side is willing to do a 50-50 split, while the players can't do anything less then a 52-48 split.
No new talks are planned as the two sides have gone through a couple marathon sessions over the past week. Federal mediator George Cohen has been working feverishly to help out with matters, though progress has been minimal if anything. Talking about having a fever, how about commissioner David Stern missing yesterdays meetings with the flu. Talk about bad timing to suffer from the sickness.
More games are expected to be canceled as Monday approaches and Stern gets back to the spotlight.
Its hard to side with either side, the owners or players as they both have many faults. One things for sure, money is being lost. Lots of it.
