Michael Vick cleared to play

Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Michael Vick has been cleared for all football activities including Sunday's game versus the New York Giants. Vick is just four days shy of suffering a concussion against the Atlanta Falcons.
Vick returned to practice Thursday where he participated in every drill fellow quarterbacks Mike Kafka and Vince Young took place in. Vick had to be cleared by the NFL mandated neurologist to play.
Rob Vito, the CEO of Unequaled Technologies will meet with Vick on Friday to revamp his helmet for post concussive blows. Vick has only played in one full 16-game season for his career. Last year, he missed three games for a rib injury.
Philadelphia has won six straight games in this series against the Giants, including last years miracle in the meadowlands when the Eagles rebounded from a big fourth quarter deficit to win.
NFC East foe Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo's status remains uncertain for Monday nights game versus the Washington Redskins. Romo underwent a ct scan on Thursday to check out how his lung is repairing after being punctured against the San Fransisco 49ers last week. Backup quarterback Jon Kitna will start the game if needed.
Having both starting quarterbacks available for these games will be huge for Philadelphia and Dallas. The Eagles have worthy backups though as evidenced by Kafka's performance last weekend. Kitna has had a few good games, but isn't a starting quarterback in this league anymore. So the Cowboys need Romo.
