Kolb out Sunday
November 3rd 2011 23:08
The 1-6 Arizona Cardinals will play on Sunday without starting quarterback Kevin Kolb as they face a fellow 1-6 team in the St. Louis Rams. Kolb is suffering from a turf-toe injury.
John Skelton is expected to start for the Cardinals. Skelton played in four games last season, he was 2-2 for the team while playing. Kolb has been sacked a league leading 24 times this season, including six last week versus Baltimore.
St. Louis starting quarterback Sam Bradford is looking good and expected to play after missing last week's game versus New Orleans. A.J. Feely stepped in and led the Rams to a big win over the Saints. Of course a finally healthy Steven Jackson helped the Rams grab their first win.
Now we see a meeting of two teams looking like they are headed in opposite directions. Both teams are in the weak NFC West, but the Rams have the talent to match up with first place San Francisco if everyone is healthy. St. Louis will likely win the game and keep up their winning streak. Arizona is falling fast, their only win was over Carolina in week one.
