Former NBA player and Michigan Wolverine, Jalen Rose has been sentenced to 20 days of jail time for DUI. Rose, currently works as an analyst for ESPN.

Rose's actual sentence was 92 days of jail, and one-year of probation. But the judge, Kimberly Small, gave Rose credit for the night he spent in jail after being arrested. Several of Detroit's promient figures asked the court for leniency, including Detroit's mayor Dave Bing. Bing is a former Detroit Piston and now stars as the leader of the city. Rose is scheduled to begin his jail time on August 2nd, after receiving a six-day extension to attend a birthday. His grandma is turning 93 this weekend.
