Huge game four looms for Miami, Dallas in NBA Finals

Dallas had the shot they wanted with Dirk Nowitzki getting the ball at the top of the key in the waning seconds of game three. Smallish Udonis Haslem was guarding the near 7-footer, who worked the ball to the left before taking aim at the hoop. Nowitzki kept Dallas in the game so it was customary he took the big shot. Instead of going through the net like 11 other field goals Nowitzki connected on, this one bricked out. Miami with the miss grabbed a commanding 2-1 series lead and a 88-86 win.
Chris Bosh after having a rough game two, was the hero of game three after hitting the winning basket. Dwayne Wade had another great offensive performance in scoring 29 points. Lebron James went for a sub-par game offensively scoring just 17 points. Mario Chalmers was big for the Heat connecting on four three-pointers in the game. Even with all this, Miami struggled once again to put away the Mavericks, who kept clawing away at the Heat's lead all game. Miami shot the ball well from behind the three-point line, connecting on 8-19 attempts.
After a close first quarter, Miami broke away at the end and had a seven-point lead after one quarter. They held this margin throughout the rest of the game, even grabbing a double-digit lead twice. Dallas fought back each time with Nowitzki leading the charge, only the Mavs could never get over the hump. Miami won game three with timely shooting, and great ball movement.
Nowitzki scored 34 points, but where was Shawn Marion or Jason Terry? Marion played great in the first two games, but only got 10 points in game three. Terry had another sub-par shooting game going 5-13 and getting 15 points. Terry claims Portland's defense is better then Miami's. Time for him to show why he thinks this as the guard has struggled. Dallas missed Brendan Haywood as Ian Mahinimi looked lost out on the court, scoring just two points and grabbing five fouls in eight minutes. Haywood can provide an adequate backup to Tyson Chandler. What happened to Peja Stojakovic? After connecting on a near three-pointer in the first quarter, the forward never played again for the game. Dallas needs their shooters to step up and help Nowitzki.
I find it hard to think Dallas will lose two straight at home, just like Miami won't drop two in a row at home. Dallas with improved shooting and more consistent play from their big-men will tie this series up at two games apiece. Look for another close game till the end, with Nowitzki and Terry coming up big.
