First game five highlights Monday's action in the NBA

After the Blazers amazing come from behind victory yesterday, now they get a chance to win once again in Dallas. Eight times Portland and Dallas has played this season, each game has seen the home team win, alas four wins for each. It didn't appear Portland was going to get Saturday's game after falling behind by 23. An amazing comeback then ensued as the home Blazers fans were treated to a game for the ages. Those who stayed at least. Memphis hosts the top-seeded Spurs in the first game of the day, while the finale pits the Thunder against the Nuggets.
The Spurs are lucky to have one win in this series with Memphis. San Antonio's luck has run out on this season here in the playoffs. No wonder why Memphis coach Lionel Hollins wanted to lose the final games of the season just to get the 8th seed. Marc Gasol has been a great revelation for the Grizzlies here in the playoffs. Zach Randolph is doing his normal thing, outplaying Tim Duncan. Mike Conley has been getting the better of Tony Parker.
San Antonio is not getting much from their bench or role-players, guys who have helped them stay afloat during the regular season. Manu Ginoboli, and Parker are playing good enough, just not the extra help from guys like Gary Neal and George Hill. Coach George Poppovich has his work cut out for him, in trying to get the Spurs to playing again. Memphis pulls off another win here, and gain a 3-1 lead.
Dallas fell apart in game four, but Portland also began playing. Was a little of both in leading the Blazers to the win. Would like to say the wind was taken out of Dallas's sails, but I don't think so. Now with the Mavericks heading back home, I'm sure the home-fans will have the team energized once again. This makes it even more of a challenge for guys like Brandon Roy, and LaMarcus Aldridge to keep Portland winning.
Dirk Nowitski is having a great series for the Mavericks. He has been the most consistent of all the players on both teams. Nowitski is averaging 27 points per game. Jason Kidd has knocked down some big 3-pointers during the series, but has been inconsistent throughout. Jason Terry had a great game three, but not much of a game four. If Portland wins a game at Dallas, this is the one to win. Game seven on the road, sounds nearly impossible. Going for a surprise here, like the first game of the day with a Blazers win.
And for the final game of the night, Denver has quite a mountain to climb, being down three games to none. What the Nuggets did the during the regular season is not working, and that is scoring. Game one saw Denver score 103 points, but for the last two they are averaging only 92 points per game. This is 15 points below the teams average for the season. Nene Hilario has been one of the few bright spots for the Nuggets. He is averaging 18 points and 10 boards. Other guys like Danilo Gallanari, J.R. Smith, Wilson Chandler and guards Raymond Felton with Ty Lawson are struggling against the Thunder. Two of these guys need to score over 20 points for the Nuggets to win.
Oklahoma City got a great game from Serge Ibaka in game three as he went for 24 points and 16 rebounds. Kevin Durant, and Russell Westbrook once again outplayed whom-ever the Nuggets put on them en route to the five-point win. I see the Nuggets finally getting a win. Don't think they will lose the series at home or get swept. Someone will step up for Denver.
