Conference Championships in the NFL

Kicking off Sunday's action is the AFC title game with New England hosting Baltimore. This is followed by the NFC title game and San Francisco welcoming NY Giants to town.
Baltimore at New England: Here's a game with two very different types of teams playing. The Patriots love to score the ball, led by quarterback Tom Brady. Baltimore is led by a great defense and linebacker Ray Lewis. The Ravens have a decent offense, one that has been plagued by inconsistent play from quarterback Joe Flacco all season long. The only consistent option for the team has been running back Ray Rice who always seems to make something happen. If the Ravens can run the ball with Rice and keep Brady and his highpowered offense off the field then the Ravens will win. Yet I have a feeling Brady will find a way to score even against this vaunted Ravens defense. The Patriots defense is getting better and they will force Flacco into making a turnover or two. New England wins a squeaker.
NY Giants at San Francisco: A rematch of a game back in week 13 where the 49ers won by a touchdown at 27-20. Giants quarterback Eli Manning threw two interceptions in this loss. Now the Giants are on a roll. Everything is working, the defense is back to their old games of putting tons of pressure on the opposing quarterback and Manning has been on fire. The running game with Ahmad Bradshaw leading the way has been stellar. San Francisco put on a offensive masterpiece last week against the weak New Orleans defense. The Giants defense is a big step up. Frank Gore will rush for over 100 yards, but I am not sold on quarterback Alex Smith of the 49ers. The Giants will win.
