College Football Saturday recap

Great work, Utah for showing up yesterday versus TCU. Losing 47-7 to the Horned Frogs only dropped the Utes ten spots. Am surprised they are in the top twenty. This is only their first loss but playing on your homefield and not showing up to play the third ranked team in the country, TCU is outrageous! How can you not get mentally ready for a game this magnitude is shocking. I for one felt Utah had a chance to win, and picked them to win. TCU is on a crash course for a BCS bowl berth maybe even the National Title game if Auburn or Oregon loses.
LSU after beating Alabama moved up into the top five now, and are looking like a team who could make it to a BCS bowl game as the SEC champion. This was the Tigers and Les Miles best performance of the year in defeating the Crimson Tide.
Stanford stayed in the Rose Bowl picture after easily dispatching Arizona Saturday night. Andrew Luck of Stanford has the Cardnial playing about as well as anyone in the country. Too bad their offense couldn't keep up with Oregon's earlier this season.
Nebraska after barely outlasting Iowa State is the team to beat in the Big-12. Oklahoma helped prove this by their loss to Texas A&M. Oklahoma State is still in the picture and lurking right behind in case the Cornhuskers slip again like their loss to Texas.
