So Brandon Roy and Lamarcus Aldridge are going to take more vocal leads on this years team. Will this factor help Portland finally clear that first round hurdle? Anything can help that's for sure. First off, Portland will have to be a top four seed which will be difficult. Don't see them beating a team without having the homecourt advantage. The Blazers until they make a big splash in free agency or a trade are more suited to the bottom half of the top eight teams in the West, and thus another first round exit, even with a healthy Greg Oden. The Western Conference is just too tough.
