Bulls look for sweep and more

April 22nd 2011 23:17
Top-seeded Chicago Bulls have had a rough time in the series with the Indiana Pacers, but a 3-0 series lead is theirs heading into the next game, tomorrow morning. Portland hosts Dallas in mid-afternoon action, and Memphis gets a home game against San Antonio. Then in the nightcap, Denver has the Thunder coming to their building.

I would like to see the Pacers win tomorrow and make the series head back to Chicago. Though I don't see it happening with Derrick Rose being so unstoppable, and the Bulls finding ways to win. Indiana has been pesky, but they don't have enough to get over the hump. The Bulls sweep.

The Blazers finally got a win on Thursday, though they made it harder then it needed to be. Dallas kept on coming, led by Dirk Nowitski and Jason Terry, who finally got a hot-hand. Portland needs more of the same home-cooking tomorrow around two here. LaMarcus Aldridge has been on a tear here in the playoffs, and it was nice to see Brandon Roy have a good game. Now is the time to see Gerald Wallace show up as he had a rough time on Thursday, not scoring a field goal until the fourth quarter. Getting some help from Rudy Fernandez would be nice as well. This game is hard to pick as both teams want it so bad. Just tune in for the game.

San Antonio got back to their normal winning ways this season by beating the Grizzlies in game two. Now heading back to Memphis opens things up for the Grizzlies who seem to have more hunger then the Spurs. Zach Randolph is making a mockery of Tim Duncan. Marc Gasol is the best of the Gasol brothers in the playoffs thus far. Was nice to see Manu Ginoboli back out there and the Spurs at top strength, yet they struggled to get the win over Memphis. I see an upset, minor at best happening as the Grizzlies once again take the lead in the series.

The Nuggets welcome back J.R. Smith and Aaron Affalo in game three. With these two guys, and the home-court advantage, the Nuggets have the advantage. Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook better bring their top-games as the Nuggets will be hungry. Danilo Gallanari has been having a great series, this will continue. This is the Nuggets game to win. Denver earns win number one with the injured guys, and home-crowd playing a huge part in the success.

I want to see the Bulls sweep, the Spurs destroy the Grizzlies, the Trail Blazers come back and win, and the Nuggets come back to make it a close series with the Thunder holding on. And yes, it was great to see Roy play well. He is one of my favorite players in the league, and this injury would make any basketball player heartbroken. The Blazers have the worst luck. Like, Oden isn't a bust at all. He's a very good player when he's on the court. Injuries, especially freak injuries, shouldn't be blamed on the player or the team.
