Big College Football Games Upcoming
November 23rd 2010 23:58
Auburn at Alabama: This Friday afternoon game has the perfect recipe for Auburn, the second ranked team in the country to lose at. Auburn (11-0) will need quarterback and Heisman Trophy frontrunner Cam Newton to play the game of his life to win here. Alabama (9-2) won the national title game last year and will play the role of the spoiler this season. Look for running back Mark Ingram to lead the Crimson Tide to the victory knocking Auburn out of the national title picture.
Boise State at Nevada: Huge game here being played on Friday night. Boise State(10-0) earlier on in the day saw Auburn lose to Alabama if all plays out correctly, and now has to win. If Boise State knocks off Nevada (10-1) here the chance remains for a national title berth. The Broncos field the better defense which will be key in shutting down Nevada quarterback Colin Kaepernick. In the end, Broncos quarterback Kellen Moore is the key in leading Boise to the victory.
Arizona at Oregon: Both teams had a week off to think about this key game. Arizona (7-3) enjoyed a great start but has struggled in the past two weeks in losses to Stanford and USC. Oregon (10-0) has too much power for the Wildcats to stop even if running back LaMichael James is hobbling around as he missed practice Wednesday. The Ducks win with ease after a close game for the first half and inch closer to a pivotal date next week in the Civil War.
Michigan at Ohio State: Heres a game which has lost its luster the last
couple of years but with the Wolverines re-emergence this year packs storylines. Two of the nation's most mobile quarterbacks in Michigan's Denard Robinson and Ohio State's Terrelle Pryor face off. Michigan (7-4) thanks to an favorable early season schedule jumped into the top 25 but have since showed their true colors. Ohio State (10-1) remains in a tie at the top of the conference with a easy victory.
