Baseball playoffs: My observations
October 8th 2010 01:03
Break up the Rangers: After winning the first two games of the series over the Tampa Bay Devil Rays, the Rangers are looking like a sure bet to face, the Twins er Yankees.
Phillies riding the arm of Halladay look to be an NLCS participant: For the first time since 1956, a no hitter has struck the postseason. Why has it taken so long for a pitcher to accomplish this feat? Hard to say. Maybe the variations of pitches? One things for sure, the Phillies will be hard to beat.
The Giants and the Braves: I see one last run in the Braves. Bobby Cox is retiring after the season, and with this in mind, Atlanta will win this series and face Philadelphia.
The Yankees: Can anyone beat this team which seems to be on a crash course for the World Series? Maybe a team of destiny, the Texas Rangers are up for this feat.
