An example of a tough player

October 13th 2010 01:30
Lineman Greg Nasal from Virginia Tech only thought he got a bad cut during the Hokies game with Central Michigan, Saturday afternoon. Figuring he would be okay to play he trotted out of bounds for a timeout. There on the sidelines, he saw what had happened. During the play, Nasal had gotten his pinkie stuck in between helmets and lost an half inch of the finger. After searching for the pinkie, it was found in his glove. Team officials gave Nasal the chance to get it the finger sewn on right away or to get medicine and play. Nasal chose the latter, and played until later being pulled out in Virginia Tech's 45 to 21 win over Central.
