Rutgers defensive tackle Eric LeGrand after making a tackle Saturday failed to get back up. He layed on the turf for five minutes while medical personnel worked. Later on it was announced LeGrand was paralyzed from the neck down. Rutgers coach Greg Schiano announced today how the team will not make day to day updates as it is not appropriate, but will keep us in the loop. Players have previously been paralyzed from the neck down and later on in life walked. LeGrand will walk again..
Auburn is for real. This is affirmed after their demolishing of 12th ranked Arkansas last Saturday, 65 to 43. Undefeated LSU is next for Auburn in what will be one of the best games next week. 2nd Oklahoma facing off at 11th ranked Missouri is the other, again a battle of unbeatens.
The shuns have begun for Brett Favre. The 41 year old athlete is the latest to get an 'x' on his back. Wrangler is distancing themselves from Favre, as evident by not showing him during Sunday's games in any advertisement. What for? Accusations? Nothing has been proven. If Favre did send those text messages with x-rated photos then let the changes happen. Favre is set to met with NFL commissioner Roger Goodall Tuesday afternoon which may answer some questions.
