Players from the NBA and their owners met for about six hours on Wednesday. They will meet once again on Thursday for more talks, and could if talks continue to improve, go for a Friday encounter.
The sudden meetings are a good sign. October 3rd, is coming up and that is when training camps are supposed to begin. The preseason begins on October 9th, and the regular season starts, November 1st. Chances are we will miss some games this year.
The NFL missed one preseason game this year. Only one. They begin their regular season on time, this Sunday. The NBA, hopefully can make a note of how well their cohorts season came together, despite a lockout. Time to continue making progress is now. Good job guys. Thanks for meeting almost six hours. Time to double this. Triple it even. Six hours of sleep is okay as long as your product arrives on time.
